On April 26th I ran my third half marathon and Devin ran his first in Nashville, Tennessee. We had a blast. It waas amazing seeing how many people were running. It is such a fun marathon because there are people everywhere cheering you on. Devin finished about 20 min. before me. This was my worst time but I still had a fun. Besides the marathon we spent a couple of fun filled days with my family in Nashville. We ate sweet potato pancakes, look for four leaf clovers, went dancing at the famous Wild Horse Saloon, and toured Andrew Jackson's plantation. When it was time to leave for the airport we were not ready to go. However, though we wanted to extend our vacation we had no intentions of staying until we looked at our tickets and realized we had the wrong time. Our flight left Nashville before we even woke up. We ended up paying a lot of money to fly on another airline. We learned three things 1. Make sure you check, recheck and recheck your flight information 2. If you fly with Frontier do not expect them to have any other flights to your destination that same day. 3. If Frontier happens to have another flight leaving the same day, just remember that they will tell you there are vacancies but in fact it will already have been overbooked. So, after we spent our yard savings unexpectedly we can still find comfort in Bush's Stoker Stimulus.

I didn't know you had run any marathons. That's awesome. Good job guys.
Sounds like you guys had fun! Jared and I are now training to run a half. We are running the seattle half in nov., you should come out and join us! We are going to be in town this weekend, we need to get together, we will give you a call!
SO IMPRESSED! I just don't know how you all do it but WAY TO GO! it looks like you had such a great vacation-all except for the flying. Why does it have to be such a pain sometimes?!
You guys look great! Too bad baby #4 got in the way of me coming this year to run with you. Way to go....can't wait to see you this summer!
Congrats on the race. I've always wanted to do a Rock n Roll Marathon (well, really only a half).
Way to go you guys!!! The marathon looked like an adventure in itself, but looks like you packed it all in with other stuff too! What a fun trip. We miss you guys...need to hang soon
